Kids are Funny!

Yung mga anak ng next-door neighbor namin ay sumasabay sakin pag hinahatid at sundo ko si Raye sa school coz they go to the same school.
Yesterday while we were driving home, we had this interesting conversation:
Leon: How come you have time to drop us off and pick us all up from school everyday?
Me: What do you mean?
Leon: Don’t you work?
Me: No, I don’t.
Steven: Then how do you get money??
Raye: Duh! My dad works. He gives us money.
Leon: But aren’t both moms and dads supposed to work?
Steven: Yeah, aren’t they?
Raye: No, they don’t have to. My mom doesn’t have to work so she can stay home and take care of the kids.
Leon: Wow!
Steven: Wow!
It’s funny how we don’t really have any idea about how much kids appreciate a parent (specifically a mom) staying home to personally take care of them….until this sort of thing comes up…so sa mga SAHM at WAHM just to let you know…YOUR KIDS APPRECIATE YOU!
